Kings of Leon on Tour!
Grammy award winning, Kings of Leon, are set to hit the road! Joining them on tour are special guests, The Black Keys, Built To Spill, The Features, The Stills, and The Whigs. The tour is set to kick off June 6th in Atlantic City, NJ and will run through the summer and into September. During that time, Kings of Leon are also scheduled to make an appearance at Bonnaroo and the sold out V Festival in the UK in late August. Halifax is Back!
California’s own pop-punks, Halifax, are back on the map! The band will be touring through the summer in promotion of their 6 track EP, Align, released under Rocket Science Records in April of this Year. The new release has been long awaited after the band decided to part ways with Drive-Thru Records in 2008. This will be the bands third EP and fifth studio effort, however, it will be the first release with Chris Brandt at lead vocals. Chris remains the only founding member of Halifax and although over the years the pieces have changed, the band retains its clean sound and raw style. Chiodos in the Studio!
Chiodos is set to get back in the studio to record their highly anticipated third album. Acclaimed producer, Machine (Lamb of God, Everytime I Die) has signed up for the project, filling the position of Casey Bates, producer of the bands second release, Bone Pallace Ballet. The band is set to enter the studio with some new additions. Joining the band for the next album will be their new drummer Tanner Wayne, formerly of Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and their new front man Brandon Bolmer, whose identity was not revealed to fans until a live performance at this years Bamboozle Festival. As I Lay Dying Headlines "Cool Tour 2010"
After the May release of their most recent studio effort with Metal Blade Records, The Powerless Rise, As I Lay Dying is set to headline the 2010 Cool Tour. Boston’s own, Phone Calls From Home, is now available On Demand through the Fuse Network! The band began receiving the scene recognition they deserved after the 2009 release Connected, which followed their self titled debut release of 2008.
