Baltimore’s Pop-Punks, You, Me, and Everyone We Know, are embarking on the AvaTour! Hitting the stage with Breathe Electric, We Are The In-Crowd, and Stay, the tour will span across the eastern half of the states with additional shows in Virginia and Chicago. Word on their long awaited full-length album has yet to be released, but fans are sure to get a sneak preview of the new material over the course of the tour. VINNIE PAZ SOLO DEBUT!


After 20 years on the underground hip-hop circuit, Vinnie Paz, is storming the scene with his solo debut! As an integral creative member of Philadelphia’s Jedi Mind Tricks and hip hop super-group Army of the Pharaohs, he has teamed up with some of the most influential artists on the scene. After gaining experience as a producer over the years and being hailed as one of the most revolutionary hip-hop artists of his time, Vinnie Paz finally drops his first solo effort, Season of the Assassin, available July 2010. ALESANA VIDEO PREMIER!


Alesana releases the official music video for “The Thespian”! The video is the sixth chapter to their 11-song concept album, The Emptiness, released January of this year. The album is their 3rd full-length release, but the first to bare official “singles”. An interview with guitarist Shawn Milke, reveals Edgar Allen Poe, Stephan King, David Lynch, and Friday the 13th as being the major influences for the albums storyline. According to the band, the story for the album is set at the turn of the 20th century and resembles that of a Hitchcock murder mystery. Feed your intrigue and purchase a copy today!

VANNA BACK ON VANS WARPED TOUR!


Boston’s own Vanna hits the stage with the 2010 Vans Warped tour! After the bands second album release in 2009 vocalist Chris Preece decided to part ways for “personal reasons”. Preece played his final show with the band at the Mansfield, MA stop of the 2009 Warped Tour. This is where new front man Davey Muise, formerly of Seeker Destroy, was introduced. HATEBREED OFF ROADING!


Metal-core militia, Hatebreed, is playing select shows off tour this summer. The band, which begins touring with this year’s Rockstar Mayhem Festival in July, has announced they will be playing select dates with Lamb of God and 3” of Blood, who will also be featured on the tour’s stacked set list. Hatebreed’s founding front man, Jamie Jasta, has pushed the band to new heights in recent years with chaotic stage performances that boast an intensity that could tear down the walls of a venue. ISLES and GLACIERS. THE METAL SUPERGROUP!


The American post-hardcore super-group has been forged! Isles and Glaciers, consisting of members from Chiodos, Emarosa, Cinematic Sunrise, The Receiving End of Sirens, Pierce the Veil, Underminded, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Dance Gavin Dance, Boys Night Out, and Fordirelifesake, released their debut earlier this spring. Craig Owens of Chiodos confirmed the rumored formation of the group in fall of 2008 and they began recording material that winter. Soulfly's New Album


Soulfly is back with their most brutal opus to date. Frontman Max Cavalera fuels their seventh release, OMEN, with the same spirit that made him a genre icon with Sepultura, Soulfly, and Cavalera Conspiracy. According to Cavalera, the album is the culmination of over a decade of work. “Murder is the record’s state of mind,” says Cavalera, and with new special guests from some of the biggest names in metal, the release promises to be the most violent yet. Lydia Calls it Quits!


Arizona’s indie rock sextet, Lydia, is splitting up after their last CD drops in July 2010. Recently the band released the song “We Clean Up So Well” on their Myspace page. The songs release was accompanied by a note from singer Leighton Antelman announcing the unfortunate parting of ways. After the release of their self-titled studio effort they plan to set out on The Lydia Finale: A Goodbye & Farewell Tour, which will cover 29 cities throughout the US.
